A good marketing friend of mine, Terri, gave me a perfect example one day. She talked about her American Express card, versus her Visa card. Her American Express card costs $75 per year, but visa had no annual fee. An American Express card had to be paid off every month, but her Visa card only record the minimum payment or more each month. Her American Express card is not accepted everywhere, but her Visa card is accepted almost everywhere she goes. How does this work for your mlm advertising?
Well, tens of millions of Americans have American Express card even when there is a more logical choice out there. Why do you think that is? Here’s the juice — when American Express sells the card. They are not just selling the card, American Express is delivering a status and an “expressive benefit.” The emotion of prestige and status is way more powerful than the more logical choice there of getting a Visa credit card instead.
People never make their decisions based on logic, unless they are doing a math problem or rocket science. And you have to appeal to emotion in your mlm advertising to get people to move and take action. Instead of thinking of all the reasons why somebody should want to join you, think of the benefits or how it will change their life when they succeed.

JP Morgan said it perfectly: “people love to reasons for doing everything that they do — the real reason, and the one that sounds good.” The real reason why people do anything in this life is because of the emotion that drives it. The reason it sounds good, is the logic that our brains make up after our heart has already decided what we are going to do. You have to use this in your mlm advertising.
The first thing that you want to present in your MLM advertising is the heart and emotional benefit of your product or service. You must make the way that you present your opportunity operate the same way that the human brain operates — hearts first, logic second. Here’s an example: “Who Else Wants to Discover How a Struggling 25-year-old Kid Fired His Boss and Retired Happily in the Tropics Two Years Later Leveraging the Power of the Internet?” You see what I mean? Emotional benefit is the key, and is the decisive factor whether somebody would join you in your business or not.
How to ‘Crush it’ in MLM Advertising
You have to take a long hard look at the MLM advertising that you have been doing. Up to now. How preach she had to be? Would you join you? How do people feel when they walk away from your presentation? Are you pushing, pulling, or beg? Are you listening to your prospects so you know, what they want? These are all vital questions that you have to ask yourself in everything that you do in the network marketing industry.
